Editing!!!

i've just finished doing my first editing on my book!! next i need to have my mon look it over to see if there are any gramer things that need fixing. thats going to take FOREVER since my mom never has any time to do anything with me. i cant wait to get this thing sent to a publisher!!

so i just finished typing it up, and i'm supper excited. i havnt told my mom yet that i've finished, i want it to be a surprise. cant wait to get it published!!!! i'm kind of scared to send it to a publisher, what if it gets rejected??? anyways, i know i shouldnt be worried, its AWESOME, but thats just from me. if you want to read the first chapter, just tell me and i'll email it to you!!

I finished the very first draft of my book!!! it is soooooo exciting!!!!! now i just have to type it up, edit it and try to get it published.... but the fact that i actually finished it, is way awesome even if it doesnt get published!!!

goals

my goal? get the flipping book done and sent to the publishers by my birthday! (june) one problem: i've written the majority of it down by hand, and its sooooo boring transferring it to the cp because i just think to myself:i know what happens, and i want to write the unwritten! i guess that shows how boring my book is.
one of my old teachers found out i was writing a book and said that as soon it was published, she was going to read it. i thought to myself:Oma Gosh! she's going to read it! someone's actually going to READ it? is it really good enough for someone to read and actually finish?! i guess i'll have to make sure it is...

another chapter

YAY!!! i finished another chapter!!!! dont get too excited, after all, this is only one of the most important chapter IN THE BOOK SO FAR!!!! LOL!
jk, im really hyper today and really distract- OH!! look at the fuzz on my bagel!!

so anyways, i'm going to keep working on it.... yeah... hope i didnt scare you away again...

how many drafts?

how many drafts? well, i think its along three or four, but I'm not sure. I've worked on this book a lot, creating a new way for it to go, then halfway through hitting a roadblock and re-writing the whole thing! why? i font know.
the book I'm talking about is the one I've been working on the longest. i don't have an official name for it, so the 'working title' for now is "The Nephite" sounds kinda cheesy i know, but who cares?

right now, I'm in chapter... six i believe. righting is getting kinda slow, but I'm going to try to do it every day (minus Sundays).

I'm going to try to get it published by Covenant Communications, so lets hope they except it!

now, to WHY i am writing this blog? well, for one, i'm kinda bored. two, i need to talk to something even if its the computer about how frustrating writing can be, but dont worry, i'll try to put in a few positive comments (jk, its mostly going to be about how much i LOVE to write.
